Criolipólisis, a new method of reducing localized fat

Have you heard of criolipólisis? Well this is a novel system to reduce localized fat which is just coming to Spain.

It is a new technique, already approved in the European Union and Canada, which is indicated to reduce the volume and get rid of localized clusters of fat (not weight loss), and uses the cold reduction mode. Moreover, unlike other non-invasive system, leaves no marks or skin burns.

As explained in a study published in Lasers in Surgery and Medicine, fat cells are vulnerable to cooling, which can reduce them without causing tissue damage.

This technique was discovered and developed by a group of scientists from Harvard University, and according to its makers say is very promising.

So far, there was only a noninvasive technique to burn stored fat, which is based on heat and ultrasound.
